He Is Risen/ He Is Alive

"Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.  He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."  Jeremiah 17:7-8

Do you have a friend who is like the tree referred to in these verses, who always seems to be bearing fruit of service?  These are the ones that are living proof that the Lord is risen and alive, living through them as they serve others.

Anita's friend Doug helped her remove a dead tree form her yard, which he cut down, loaded up and hauled off.  Another time he moved a large tree stump, which serves Anita as an anvil.  It is for this reason that Anita designed this cross to have a tree trunk appearance.  It is in memory of all those friends who are like" a tree planted by the waters," and are sharing that water with others.  These kinds of people live lives that show the world that HE IS RISEN/HE IS ALIVE.
