Jesus Loves Me

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38,39

Anita heard a love song whose lyrics told about carving initials inside a heart on the bark of a tree.  This expression of love reminded her of the highest expression of love demonstrated to each of us by Jesus when He too put not only his name, but also His life on a tree.

This revelation of Christ's love inspired Anita to create a piece whose rough texture is like that of a tree.  The carved initials inside the heart remind us of the miracle of crucified Love.  May this piece remind us each that, "Jesus Loves Me."
