Bright Morning Star

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony.  I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright Morning Star." Revelation 22:16

During a dark time in Anita's life, one of her friends comforted her with a reminder of how light can pierce the darkness, but darkness can't penetrate the light.  When she had trouble sleeping, she would light a small angel oil lamp that shadowed a star pattern on the wall.  She would soon fall peacefully asleep by glancing at the light and reminding herself of the great gift God had sent through the birth of his Son, Jesus.  This piece was designed as a reminder to keep our eyes lifted up and focused on the one who has promised to return- Jesus, the Bright Morning Star, that pierces the darkness and envelopes us with the light of his love.  We should never feel afraid or alone, but find rest and peace in the light.
