The Greatest Gift

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called VVonderful, Counselor, Mighty God. Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

This design captures many objects that we, as modern day Christians, associate with Christmas. The Christmas stocking, the shepherd's staff, the Christmas tree, the star, a kneeling angel, and above all the cross. As you wear this piece may you be reminded of the real meaning behind Christmas and the sacrifice that was made on our behalf.

The greatest gift is not contained in a beautiful wrapped box. The greatest gift we will ever receive was given to us over 2000 years ago in the form of a baby wrapped in simple swaddling clothes. Jesus Christ is God's gift to you. He is God's expression of unconditional love to all of us.

Christmas is about Jesus Christ. It is about His birth. About the ultimate debt, paid not by a credit card but paid in full with the only innocent blood ever spilled. Christmas is about the Son of God coming as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and to provide a way for us to have eternal life and fellowship with God the Father.

This season pause to worship God for loving us enough to send His son. For He is truly the greatest gift.
