El Shaddai
"And I will be a father unto you, and you shall be my sons and my daughters, said the Lord almighty." 2 Cor 6:18
The El Shaddai cross represents the nurturing love of our Father. The word "El" means strength and might. The word "Shaddai" means the breasted one. Our mighty Father nurtures us similarly as a nursing mother nurtures her child.
May the El Shaddai cross give us hope that we have a Father who will supply every need we have.
